American outside linebacker DeAngelo Malone competes for the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons as a professional football player. He stands 1.93 m tall and weighs 109 kg. Prior to transferring to Cedar Grove High School, he attended Martin Luther King Jr. High School. After graduating from high school, he played collegiate football for the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers at Western Kentucky University.

Atop ESPN’s list of the top five outside linebacker prospects for the 2021 NFL Draft, he was also chosen as the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year for the following season. At the 82nd overall choice in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft, Malone was chosen by the Atlanta Falcons.
