Marcus Ardel Taulauniu Mariota, professionally known as Marcus Mariota is the quarterback for the National Football League’s Atlanta Falcons. He stands 1.93 meters tall and weighs 101 kilograms. He excelled in football and track while attending Saint Louis School, where he was a two-sport star.
He was named the offensive player of the year in high school by the Interscholastic League of Honolulu in 2010. He attended the University of Oregon after graduating from high school, where he played collegiate football for the Oregon Ducks from 2011 to 2014. He was a true freshman who redshirted. He was the first Ducks freshman to start the season opener in 22 seasons in 2012 as a redshirt freshman.
