On July 25, 1992, Dean Marlowe, a safety for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League, was born. He was a free agent after the 2015 NFL Draft and was signed by the Carolina Panthers.
During his time at James Madison University, he played collegiate football. As a senior on the football squad at Holy Cross High School, Marlowe played both quarterback and safety.
Marlowe was drafted by the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent after the 2015 NFL Draft. He was added to the 53-man roster of the squad on September 5, 2015. The Marlowe Panthers participated in Super Bowl 50 on February 7, 2016.
Marlowe re-signed with the Bills on March 26, 2020. On September 5, 2020, as part of the final roster cuts, he was released. However, the following day, after minor roster changes, he was re-signed.Marlowe signed a contract with the Detroit Lions on April 8, 2021. He had 67 tackles and two passes defended while participating in 16 games, starting nine of them.
Marlowe agreed to a one-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons on March 31, 2022. He is currently playing as a safety for the team wearing jersey number 21.
