Adetokunbo Ogundeji is an outside linebacker for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. He stands 1.93 m tall and weighs 122 kg. He went to Walled Lake Central High School, but he didn’t start playing football until his first year. He made a commitment to play collegiate football at Western Michigan after high school. He made 68 tackles, nine sacks, 17 pass breakups, and four fumble recoveries as a junior.
After receiving more intense recruiting, he ultimately decided against attending Western Michigan. He committed to play football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at the University of Notre Dame.
He did not play in any games during his first season and instead spent it on the scout team. In his junior year, he began to see a lot of action, and at the end of the year, he had recorded 25 total tackles, three tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles. He produced 4.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, three tackles for loss, 34 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and one fumble as a senior. After his senior year, he made the decision to stay for a fifth season.
In his final season, he recorded seven sacks. The Atlanta Falcons selected Ogundeji with the 182nd overall choice in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. On June 15, 2021, he agreed to a four-year rookie deal with the Falcons.
