Pinion and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers agreed to a four-year contract on March 13, 2019. Pinion had four punts for 174 yards in the first game of the season against the Minnesota Vikings.

In 2016, Pinion had 100 punts for 4,402 net yards and a 44.02 average. His 100 punts were the most in the league. San Francisco 49ers selected Pinion 165th overall in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He was the only punter chosen in that year’s draft.
Pinion continued to serve as the Tigers’ primary punter as a junior in 2014. He took all of the punts that season but for one, which Andy Teasdall received.
In the course of the season, he attempted and made three extra points. Pinion had a season-high 10 punts against the Georgia Bulldogs in the first game of the year, resulting in a season-high 451 net yards (45.1 average).

College Stats
From 2012 to 2014, Pinion played collegiate football at Clemson for head coach Dabo Swinney . Pinion played in just five games as a rookie in 2012, with teammate Spencer Benton handling most of the playing time.
