Damien Williams is an American football running back who currently plays for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League.
Williams was born on April 3, 1992. In 2014, the Miami Dolphins decided to take a chance on an undrafted free agent and signed Damien Williams.
In addition, he has played for the Kansas City Chiefs and was a part of the team that won Super Bowl LIV. During that particular Super Bowl, he ran the ball 38 yards for a touchdown with under two minutes left on the clock, which proved to be the decisive score for the Chiefs.
Williams went to El Cajon Valley High School for his freshman year and participated in the varsity sports program there.
He attended Mira Mesa Senior High School and participated in the football program there for the next three years.
Williams was supposed to play collegiate football at Arizona State, but he did not reach the minimum for the ACT exam score.
Therefore, he participated in athletics at Arizona Western College prior to making the move to the University of Oklahoma in 2012.
In November 2013, he has kicked off the Oklahoma team for breaking the rules which led to his dismissal. He played for the Sooners for two years,
during which time he carried 1,499 yards and 18 touchdowns, the longest of which was a run of 95 yards against Texas in 2012.
