Beau Brinkley’s career started at Kearney (Mo.) High School, where he received a letter of achievement in both football and basketball during his time there.

Following his graduation from high school, Brinkley enrolled at the University of Missouri, where he was a member of the Tigers for four years (2008- 2011).
In 2008, Brinkley began his career as a favored walk-on and quickly rose to the position of long snapper.
He made a total of 50 career appearances for the Tigers, during which time Missouri kickers were successful in 79 of 98 field goal tries (80.6% of those attempts) and 210 of 212 extra point attempts (99.1% of those efforts).
As a senior for the Tigers in 2011, Brinkley was recognized as the Tigers’ Co-Special Teams Player of the Year after participating in all 13 games as a snapper and making five special teams tackles.
