Beau Brinkley, a veteran long snapper, has signed a one-year contract with the Atlanta Falcons.
It is anticipated that Brinkley would take over for Josh Harris as Atlanta’s long-time snapper.
Brinkley joined the Titans organization in 2021 as an undrafted free agent and played for the team for a total of nine seasons. While playing for Tennessee, he was named to the Pro Bowl three times and was a two-time All-Pro selection
His career with the Titans in Nashville came to an end in November of 2020 as he battled with snaps after returning from the COVID-19 list. He was eventually let go from the team.
Brinkley was signed to the practice squads of three different NFL teams in 2021, including the Detroit Lions, the Arizona Cardinals, and the Los Angeles Chargers. However, he only saw action on the field with the Cardinals, for whom he played in three games before being released.
In February, the Chicago Bears decided to sign him to their practice squad, but in the middle of March, they decided to cut ties with him.
