Alabama native, Marlon Davidson, was a highly-rated prospect during his time at high school. The sought-after athlete who was a five-star prospect chose Auburn over many other colleges due to the influence of his senior brother, Kenneth Carter.
Marlon Davidson attended Auburn University from 2016 to 2019. He made an immediate contribution to the Tigers, becoming the first freshman at Auburn to start on the defensive line since 1985.
Davidson also started all 13 games in which the Tigers participated. In addition to that, he was selected to the All-SEC freshmen team. After a match against Missouri in Davidson’s second season, he was honored as the defensive player of the week by the Southeastern Conference.
Davidson was chosen by the Atlanta Falcons in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. The Falcons used the 47th overall pick to make the selection. On October 13, 2020, he was inactivated and then placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. He was brought back into action on October 26, 2020.
