As a defensive end with the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League, Amaré Barno plays football professionally. He stands 1.98 meters tall and weighs 111 kilograms. He played high school football at Westwood High School, where he attended. When he attended Westwood, he was a safety.

When he decided to play collegiate football for the Butler Grizzlies at Butler Community College, the coaches moved him from safety to linebacker because he didn’t have the necessary grades to compete in Division I football.
