William Grier is a quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. He was born on April 3, 1995, and now plays for the team (NFL).

After playing college football in Florida and West Virginia, the Carolina Panthers selected him in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. His previous team was the West Virginia Mountaineers.

As a result of his play at Davidson Day School, Grier was awarded the title of Parade All-American Player of the Year as well as Mr Football USA.

He broke the previous mark of 764 yards, which stood when he was a junior when he threw for a national record 837 yards in a game.

Grier finished his career with a total of 14,565 passing yards, a state-record 195 touchdown passes, 2,955 rushing yards, and 31 rushing touchdowns.

Grier competed against Treon Harris for the starting quarterback position in 2015 after sitting out his first year as a freshman wearing a redshirt.

This performance set a new personal best for him. After it came to light that Grier had a positive test result for a performance-enhancing drug, he was handed a suspension that would last for one full year,

beginning on October 12, 2015. In December 2015, Florida made the announcement that Grier intended to move on to attend another institution.
