A linebacker with the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League, Jabril Cox is an American football player. His birthday is April 16, 1998. (NFL).
He was selected by the Cowboys to play for them in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He played collegiate football at North Dakota State before transferring to LSU,
where he won three FCS titles and was named the MVFC defensive player of the year. Later, he played collegiate football for LSU.
Cox was recognized for his athletic accomplishments at Raytown South High School with All-Conference and All-District accolades.
He threw for 2,103 yards and 18 passing touchdowns, ran for 1,004 yards and scored 13 rushing touchdowns as a senior. His totals were outstanding.
Cox also played four years of varsity baseball and basketball at the school. He earned the honour of conference Defensive Player of the Year and a spot on the first team of All-MVFC for his 91 total tackles 9.5 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, 7 quarterback hurries, and 4 interceptions in his junior season.
He had 10 tackles as his team defeated Montana State University 54-13 in the second round of the FCS playoffs, winning 52-10.
He has been named to the first team of All-MVFCS for the second consecutive year by both the MVFC and the Associated Press.
Cox played a significant role in helping his team win three straight FCS Championships and ended with an overall record of 45-1. He played in 45 games, starting 38 of them, recording 258 tackles, 14 sacks, six interceptions,
and two defensive touchdowns by the time his career was through. He decided to transfer to Louisiana State University in 2020 as a graduate student in order to pursue further player development there.
Cox has declared that he will participate in the 2021 NFL Draft.

On November 1, 2021, Cox underwent an MRI, which revealed that he had suffered damage to his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
Following that, Cox was placed on the injured reserve list, which means that the remainder of his season will not be played.
