He helped his team win the state championship as a senior. He was a collegiate football player for the University of Nebraska’s Nebraska Cornhuskers. He played in all seven of the games as a redshirt freshman, starting four of them. He made a total of two starts at right guard and right tackle. His selection as the right tackle for the team’s average total offense of 456.2 yards as a sophomore helped. As a junior right tackle, he made his 12 games starts.
Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, he participated in 8 games in 2020 as a senior. Farniok was selected by the Dallas Cowboys with the 238th overall selection in the 7th round of the 2021 NFL Draft. May 2021 marked the beginning of his four-year rookie deal.
