Neville Gallimore is a well-known professional football player best known for playing defensive lineman with the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League. He stands 1.88 meters tall and is 143 kilos heavy. He played football at St. Patrick’s High School. Later, he changed schools to Canada Prep Academy, which gave him the opportunity to travel the country and play against some of the best high school football teams.
He was the first athlete of Canadian descent to receive an invitation to compete in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, but he was unable to do so in 2015 due to a knee injury. He made the decision to enroll at the University of Oklahoma to play college football for the Oklahoma Sooners football team after receiving thirty scholarship offers from American universities.
He redshirted in 2015, Oklahoma’s inaugural season. As a freshman in 2016, he played in all 13 games, starting six of them. As a sophomore in 2017, he took part in 12 of the team’s 14 games, starting the first five before missing the final two due to injury. As a senior in 2019, he made 14 starts and recorded 30 tackles (7.5 for loss), 4 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles.
By the time his college career was up, he had 148 total tackles (including 18 for loss), 9 sacks, 5 forced fumbles, and 3 College Football Playoff appearances. Gallimore was chosen by the Dallas Cowboys in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
