A wide receiver with the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League, Michael Gallup is a professional football player. He stands 1.85 m tall and weighs 90 kg. He participated in track, football, baseball, and basketball while a student at Monroe Area High School. As a junior quarterback in a triple option offense, he began concentrating on football.
He had 37 carries for 484 yards and seven rushing touchdowns as a senior, in addition to 28 receptions for 637 yards and 10 receiving scores. In the Class 4A playoffs, he assisted his team in moving on to the next round. He attended Colorado State University and participated in collegiate football for the Rams.
Before enrolling at Colorado State University, he spent two seasons raising his grade point average at Butler Community College. His first season at Colorado State wasn’t particularly productive, but after his third game against the University of Northern Colorado, when he had four receptions for 82 yards and a touchdown, he started to produce more.
With the 81st overall choice in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys selected Gallup. In Week 17 of the 2021 season against the Arizona Cardinals, he tore his ACL while scoring a touchdown. A few days later, he was placed on injured reserve. In March 2022, he agreed to a five-year, $62.5 million contract with the Cowboys.
