What Is Jayron Kearse’s Salary: How Much Does Jayron Kearse Make?

Jayron Kearse

Jayron Kearse, a safety for the Dallas Cowboys, went from being a nobody to being the leader of the safety group in less than a year.

The previous season, the Cowboys signed the player who had previously been selected in the seventh round by the Minnesota Vikings and gave him a chance with a demonstrating contract.

It’s possible that some people will view the phrase “change of scenery” as a cliché, but in Kearse’s case, it was very necessary. The previous year, he played for Dallas and had 15 starts. During that time, he led the team in tackles, had two interceptions, and was the third-highest on the squad in defensive snaps. In every statistical category, he was able to improve upon his prior stats.

Many people, like Colin Cowherd, are under the impression that the Cowboys’ front management did not do enough to improve this roster during the summer. They were only able to sign three external players during free agency, and two of those players won’t even play in Week 1 of the season.

Given that the Cowboys didn’t do much else this offseason, it’s not surprising that Bleacher Report chose a re-signed player as their best move. That action was to extend Kearse’s contract for an additional two years at a cost of $10 million
