Osa Odighizuwa plays defensive tackle for the National Football League’s Dallas Cowboys. He is the younger brother of former New York Giants defensive end Owa Odighizuwa.
Odighizuwa went to David Douglas High School and participated in multiple sports including football and wrestling. As a senior, he was honored as a PrepStar All-West and had previously won the defensive player of the year award twice.
On May 5, 2015, he made a commitment to play college football at the University of California, Los Angeles. He had received a rating of three stars as a recruit coming out of high school.
Wrestling was his best sport, and he won three consecutive state heavyweight titles to earn a letter in the sport. He had gone two years without losing (46-0 and 45-0).

Odighizuwa participated in all 13 games as a reserve defensive tackle as a redshirt freshman. He recorded 15 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and one sack, and was tied for fifth on the team. In the game against the University of Oregon, he made 3 tackles and one sack.
He scored a touchdown against the University of Washington by returning a fumble for 51 yards. Against the University of Hawaii, he recorded two tackles for a loss and one sack.
