KaVontae Turpin plays wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. He stands 1.75 m tall and weighs 69 kg. He attended Neville High School, where he played football for the squad there. He had 1,928 all-purpose yards as a senior, including 904 rushing yards and 724 receiving yards, and 29 touchdowns.
He was named the All-State, All-NELA, and All-NELA Big School Offensive Player of the Year. At Texas Christian University, he participated in collegiate football for the TCU Horned Frogs. He started five out of the 13 games he played in as a true freshman.
In October 2015, he was named the Big 12 Co-Offensive Player of the Week after his career-high numbers of six receptions for 138 yards and four receiving touchdowns in the Horned Frogs’ 50-7 victory over the University of Texas. He may be the top return man in school history because to his six special teams touchdowns throughout his collegiate career and four punt returns for scores.
In 2020, Turpin signed a contract with the IFL’s Frisco Fighters after going undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft. He joined the FCF Glacier Boyz for the group’s first 2021 season. Turpin signed a three-year contract with the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League in July 2022.
