As a safety with the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League, Juanyeh Thomas is a professional football player. He weighs 98 kg and stands 1.91 m tall. He played football at Walton High School for two seasons before transferring to Niceville High School for his final two. Three times, he was named to the all-state and all-area teams.
As a sophomore in 2015, he set a national high school record by scoring touchdowns after returning interception in five straight games. He also set a school record by finishing the season with eight interceptions. Even though he only made one interception as a senior in 2017, he was nonetheless named to the all-state team for the third year in a row.
He played football for the Georgia Bulldogs at Georgia Tech University from 2017 to 2020. As a true freshman in 2018, he took part in every game and led Georgia Tech in tackles. He participated in all 12 games as a sophomore, starting 11 of them at safety. He started each of the team’s 10 games at safety in 2020 while participating in all ten of them.
He finished third on the team overall and led all defensive backs in tackles with 59. He took part in all 12 games as a junior safety in 2021, starting each one. Georgia Tech granted him a B.S. in literature, media, and communication in December 2021. Thomas, an undrafted free agent who was passed over in the 2022 NFL Draft, signed with the Dallas Cowboys.
