Jake McQuaide Children: Does Jake McQuaide Have Any Kids?

A long snapper with the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League, Jacob McQuaide is a professional football player. He is 1.88 m tall and 108 kg in weight. He went to Elder High School, where he played football in high school. He assisted in the football team’s OHSAA State Championship victory as a sophomore. He recorded 10 receptions for 125 yards as a tight end as a senior.

As a walk-on for the Ohio State Buckeyes football team after graduating from high school, he played college football there. He played long snapper in each of the first seven games as a redshirt freshman. He was chosen as the team’s long snapper on placement kicks and punts as a sophomore.

His whole college career, he served as the team’s long snapper; nevertheless, he was never able to play tight end or provide any stats to the position. He was a part of the Big Ten Conference’s three triumphs (2007, 2008 and 2009). McQuaide was a free agent after the 2011 NFL Draft when the St. Louis Rams signed him.

When he signed with the Dallas Cowboys in March 2021, he got back in touch with special teams coordinator John Fassel, who was also his coach with the Rams. In March 2022, Dallas re-signed McQuaide to a one-year contract. His final snap in the fourth game against the Washington Commanders resulted in a torn left triceps, which led to his placement on the injured list.
