Dane Belton is an American football safety who was born on December 7, 2000. He now plays for the New York Giants, who compete in the National Football League (NFL).
He attended Iowa College and participated in football there. Belton spent his childhood in Tampa, Florida, where he also received his high school education in Jesuit.
Belton was considered a three-star prospect and decided to play collegiate football in Iowa despite receiving over 25 scholarship offers from other schools.
Belton made 46 tackles, including three tackles for loss and seven pass breakups, which led to his selection as a junior on the first team of All-Big Ten Conference players.
