Guard Joshua Ezeudu plays professionally for the National Football League’s New York Giants. He is 140 kg and 1.93 m tall. He was a three-star recruit and played football while attending Archer High School. At the University of North Carolina, he participated in collegiate football for the Tar Heels of North Carolina.
He redshirted the remainder of his true freshman season after participating in just one game. He started 7 of the 13 games he participated in as a redshirt freshman in 2019, and he was chosen to the ACC All-Academic Team. He was voted third-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference during his redshirt sophomore season after starting ten games (ACC).
He got an honorable mention All-ACC selection as a junior redshirt player for UNC after starting 11 of the team’s 12 games. He served as the team’s captain and provided blocking for an offense that scored 35.2 points, gained 468.2 total yards per game, including 212.5 rushing yards, and averaged 212.5 running yards. Injury forced him to miss one game.
He appeared in 36 games at UNC over the course of three seasons, starting 28 of them, 20 at left guard, 6 at left tackle, and 2 at right tackle. He announced following the campaign that he would forgo his remaining collegiate eligibility and instead enter the 2022 NFL Draft. Ezeudu was chosen by the New York Giants in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
