Travis Jayvinski Benjamin (born December 29, 1989) is an American football wide receiver who plays for the National Football League’s San Francisco 49ers. He was a member of the University of Miami football team. The Cleveland Browns selected him in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

From 2008 through 2011, Benjamin was a four-year starter for the Miami Hurricanes in college football. In 11 games as a freshman, he had 18 receptions for 293 yards.

In 11 games as a sophomore, he had 29 receptions for 501 yards and four touchdowns. His greatest performance came against Florida State in the season opener when he had four receptions for 128 yards and a score. He recorded 43 receptions for 743 yards and three scores in 13 games as a junior. He has 41 receptions for 609 yards and three scores in 11 games as a senior.



Benjamin joined Miami’s indoor track squad in 2010. With a season-best time of 6.74 seconds, he finished fourth in the ACC Championships in the 60 meters. In the 60 meters, he ran the team’s three fastest times of the season.

Benjamin received All-ACC accolades while competing for the Miami outdoor track team, finishing third in the 100 meters in the ACC Championships in a time of 10.40 seconds, the quickest time of any Miami sprinter on the season.

He ran the second leg of the NCAA semifinalist 4 x 100-meter relay, which broke a school record with a season-best time of 39.57 seconds in the NCAA quarterfinals, and finished sixth at the Penn Relays with a time of 40.35 seconds.
