As a cornerback with the New York Giants of the National Football League, Fabian Moreau plays football professionally. He weighs 93 kg and is 1.83 meters tall. He played wide receiver and running back in football when a student at Western High School. As a 3-star prospect, he signed with UCLA right out of high school to play collegiate football for the UCLA Bruins.
From 2012 through 2016, after switching from running back, he played cornerback for the college football team there. He started in 2013, during his second year in college. While playing collegiate football, he not only racked up 149 tackles, three interceptions, and two spots on the athletic director’s honor roll, but he also pursued political science.
With the 81st overall choice in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Washington Redskins selected Moreau. The Washington Redskins’ 17-30 season-opening loss to the Philadelphia Eagles marked his first appearance in a regular season game as a professional. He committed to the Atlanta Falcons on a one-year deal in March 2021. He signed a contract with the Houston Texans in May 2022.
The Texans released him in August. Moreau joined the practice squad of the New York Giants on September 5, 2022. For the games against the Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys in weeks two and three, he was promoted from the practice squad. His promotion to the Giants’ active roster took place on September 28, 2022.
