Daniel Jones, a fellow 2019 NFL draft pick, provided Slayton with three receptions for 82 yards in his debut NFL game, a 32-31 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3.

Slayton led the Giants in receiving yards for the 2019 season with 48 receptions, 740 receiving yards, and eight receiving touchdowns overall in his rookie campaign.
