Football wide receiver David Sills V plays professionally for the New York Giants of the National Football League. He weighs 96 kg and stands 1.91 meters tall. While a student at Eastern Christian Academy, he played football for the school’s football team. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at West Virginia University, where he played NCAA football for the Mountaineers.
Sills was one of the first recruits from the 2015 class to enroll at West Virginia. So, he was permitted to participate in spring training. In June 2016 he changed colleges to El Camino College, and in December that same year he returned to West Virginia. He was chosen for the second team of the 2018 College Football All-America Team by the Walter Camp Football Foundation.
According to the Associated Press, he was named to the third team. On April 27, 2019, Sills signed a non-drafted free agent contract with the Buffalo Bills. The Bills released him on August 31, 2019. He joined the New York Giants practice squad on September 1 of this year. He was added to the active roster of the Bills in December 2019.
He renewed his contract with the Giants in March 2022. In Week 7’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, he recorded a 19-yard reception, bringing his career total of receiving yards from 99 to 118. With that catch, he passed the 100-yard mark.
