Aaron Robinson started out his high school career at West Boca High School but later transferred to Deerfield Beach High School, where he spent his senior and junior years.
Robinson was a versatile athlete who competed in multiple sports, including track & field and football. He rotated between the wide receiver, cornerback, and safety positions on the team. Robinson broke his collarbone when he was a junior, and he had to miss six months of games because of it.

Aaron Robinson initially attended the University of Alabama, where he played one season for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
He transferred to the University of Central Florida (UCF) during his second year. As a result of NCAA transfer restrictions, Robinson was required to sit out his first season with the Knights.
He was sidelined for a significant amount of time during his redshirt sophomore season as a result of a catastrophic injury that he sustained during the opening kickoff of his first game with the team.
Robinson earned a spot on the second team of All-American Athletic Conference honors as a redshirt junior after compiling 54 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, three interceptions, 10 pass breakups, and one forced fumble.
He also had one forced fumble (AAC). As a redshirt senior, Robinson was honored once more with All-AAC second-team honors.
