Aaron Robinson is one of the cornerbacks in the 2021 draft class who gets less credit than he deserves. If the competition for cornerbacks had been stronger, he might have been selected earlier in the first round or in the early part of the second.
The former Alabama cornerback made the most of his increased playing time at UCF after transferring there after his freshman season.
Robinson earned a spot on the second team of All-American Athletic Conference honors as a redshirt junior after compiling 54 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, three interceptions, 10 pass breakups, and one forced fumble. As a redshirt senior, Robinson was honored once more with All-AAC second-team honors.
In addition, he had a time of 4.38 seconds on UCF’s Pro Day on April 1, demonstrating that he is capable of competing with the quickest receivers at the next level.
