Born on May 17, 1995, Korey Cunningham is an American football offensive tackle for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Cincinnati.
At the University of Cincinnati, he participated in collegiate football for the Cincinnati Bearcats football team.
His 2013 true freshman year was redshirted. As a sophomore in 2015, he started 12 games at left tackle and participated in nine of them. This marked his first significant game action in 2016. He was chosen for the Second Team All-American Athletic Conference as a senior.
While at Cincinnati, he took part in 33 games, starting 24 of them at left tackle. The Arizona Cardinals selected Cunningham with the 254th overall pick in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
He signed his rookie contract in May 2018 and made his regular-season debut against the Oakland Raiders in Week 11 of the regular season. He was purchased by the New England Patriots in a deal in August.
He was released by the Patriots in August. Cunningham joined the practice squad of the New York Giants in September 2021.
In March 2022, the Giants re-signed him, but in July 2022, as a result of an injury unrelated to football, he was released from his contract. He was a practice squad member for the Giants as of October 2022.
