Nakobe Rashod Dean, who was born on December 13, 2000, is a linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League.
Dean has been playing American football since. After playing college football at Georgia, the Eagles selected him in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft to add to their team.
Horn Lake High School was where Dean played football throughout his time in high school. The Butkus award was bestowed upon him when he was a senior.
After receiving offers from Ole Miss and Alabama, five-star recruit Dean decided to sign with Georgia instead of attending either of those schools.
In spite of dealing with injuries, Dean was able to record a total of 25 tackles while playing for the Georgia Bulldogs football team as a true freshman.
After finishing the season as an important member of the team that won the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship, he was awarded the Butkus Award in 2021,
which is presented annually to the linebacker who has been the most outstanding performer in college football.
Dean made his entry into the 2022 NFL Draft officially on January 15th, 2022. The NFL has extended an invitation to Dean to attend the 2022 Scouting Combine.
Because of the torn pectoral muscle that he sustained while training for the NFL Draft, he was only able to participate in a limited number of positional drills.
