Sua Opeta joined the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2019. The guard has since exuded excellence and tenacity in the competitive sport.
Opeta started his football career at an early age. At age 10, he already knew the basics of the game.
He attended Stansbury Park High school and played as a utility player ( defense and offense). He excelled in the game and has continued to maintain that standard to date.
As a sought-after high school player, Southern Utah had made him an offer, but Weber State wanted him on the defensive line, so he chose them instead.
Opeta spent five years playing football with the Weber State Wildcats, starting out as a true freshman and a redshirt. During his redshirt freshman year, he played defensive tackle. However, during the offseason leading up to the following season, he switched to the offensive line because he was assured of a starting spot there.
Opeta’s first year on the offensive line resulted in him being named to the All-Conference Honorable Mention list. Opeta was recognized as an FCS All-American on two separate occasions. He received a spot in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.
Who Are Sua Opeta Parents?
Sua Opeta was born to Amerika and Christy Opeta. The football guard barely talks about his parents to the media. We can assure you he has a good relationship with them and would want to remain private about their personal life.
