He competed in four collegiate football seasons for the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs at Louisiana Tech University.
He gained 937 yards rushing on 163 attempts in his senior year, average 5.7 yards. In 2017, he produced 108.4 yards per game and 1,301 total offensive yards. Scott was selected 201st overall by the New Orleans Saints during the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
He was signed to the practice squad after being waived in September 2018 after being included on the Saints’ initial 53-man roster. The Philadelphia Eagles acquired him off the practice squad of the Saints in December 2018. On August 31, 2019, he was released at the final roster cuts, but the following day, he was re-signed to the team’s practice squad.
In October of 2019 after being added to the active roster, he ran for four yards to score his first career touchdown. In April 2021, Scott agreed to a one-year exclusive-rights free agent tender with the Eagles. In January 2022, he was added on the COVID list, and a week later, he was activated.
