In the National Football League, Josiah Scott is a cornerback for the Philadelphia Eagles. He is 84 kg and has a height of 1.75 meters. When he was a student at Fairfield High School, he played football for the school’s football team. He played collegiate football for the Michigan State Spartans squad while attending Michigan State University.
In his first year, he was chosen for the ESPN Freshman All-America Team. He had a torn meniscus in his second season, missing the first eight games. The 2018 Redbox Bowl defensive MVP, he finished the contest with three tackles and four pass breakups.
His 32 pass interceptions over the course of his career put him in a tie for 12th place in MSU history. He started all thirteen of the games during his junior season. In the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars selected Scott (137th overall). Previously, the Jaguars dealt cornerback A. J. Bouye to the Denver Broncos in exchange for the pick used to select Scott.
After being added on the reserve/COVID-19 list by the Jaguars in July 2020, he remained inactive for three days. Along with Jameson Houston and a 2023 sixth-round pick, he was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles in May 2021. On September 2, 2021, he was placed on injured reserve and activated on October 2, 2021.
