Isaac Seumalo is an experienced guard who now plays for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League.

He was a defensive and offensive lineman at Corvallis High School during his junior and senior years, and he was selected to the 5A First-team All-State. He chose Oregon State University over offers from Southern California, Stanford, and other universities.

As a member of the Oregon State Beavers, he played NCAA football there. Being the first true freshman to start at center since Roger Levasa in 1978, he participated in all 13 of Oregon State’s games during his debut season. Additionally, CBSSports.com and College Football News named him a Freshman All-American.

During a victory over the Utah Utes, he garnered high praise for his performance against Star Lotulelei, the current Pac-12 Defensive Lineman of the Year.

In the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles selected Seumalo with the 79th overall pick. In 2017, he played in 14 games and started as a left guard twice.

He signed a three-year contract deal with the Eagles in March 2019 that would keep him with the team through the 2022 campaign, and when the Eagles defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII, he received his first Super Bowl ring. Due to a knee injury, he was placed on injured reserve in September 2020. In November 2020, he was activated.
