Former Louisiana Tech DT, Milton Williams joined the Philadelphia Eagles when he was drafted by the Eagles in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
Before becoming a professional NFL player, Williams started his career at Crowley High School in Crowley, Texas. Throughout the course of his career, he racked up 300 tackles, 22 sacks, and four touchdowns.
After high school, Williams enrolled at Louisiana Tech University and played four seasons of college football for the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.
Williams sat out his rookie season in 2017 and then appeared in seven games as a substitute the following season. In 2019, he was a sophomore and was given a starting position.
He concluded his career with 108 tackles and 10.5 sacks. He was a very good defensive player. After the end of the 2020 season, he made the announcement that he will not play in his senior year and instead enter the NFL Draft in 2021.
Williams was chosen by the Philadelphia Eagles in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft (73rd overall). Williams inked a rookie deal with the Eagles on June 3, 2021, for a total of four years. Williams recorded a career-high four tackles and his first sack against Jared Goff in a 44-6 victory on October 31.
