In the National Football League, Davion Taylor is a linebacker with the Philadelphia Eagles. At 1.85 meters tall and 104 kilograms, he is also quite large. He started playing semi-pro football while in college. He earned a 3.6 grade point average while attending there and was recognized as a scholar athlete by Coahoma Community College.
He studied there in 2016 as well as 2017. He joined the Colorado football team after transferring to the University of Colorado in 2018 and doing so. He recorded 57 tackles, one sack, and one touchdown over the course of the 12 games he started that season. He participated in each of the 12 contests he was eligible to play in as a senior in 2019 and recorded 72 tackles and one sack.
Throughout his college career, he participated in 23 games with 19 starts on defense, racking up 136 tackles, 20 for a loss, including two sacks, and another 12 for no gain. He majored in Psychology at Colorado and is now pursuing a Leadership Studies minor. With the 103rd overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles selected Taylor in the third round. In Week 6 of the 2021 campaign, he began playing as the team’s starter. In August 2022, he was cut and later re-signed to the practice squad.
