George Krieger Kittle, an American football tight end for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League, was born on October 9, 1993. (NFL). He was picked in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the 49ers after playing college football for the University of Iowa Hawkeyes. He has appeared in three Pro Bowls and was named to the First Team All-Pro in 2019.
Kittle was born in Madison, Wisconsin, but relocated to Iowa when he was a child. He went to Iowa City West High School, Cedar Falls High School, and Norman High School in Iowa City, Iowa, Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Norman, Oklahoma. He is committed to play college football at the University of Iowa. Bruce Kittle, his father, was a former college football coach and also played at Iowa.
From 2012 to 2016, Kittle was a member of Kirk Ferentz’s Iowa Hawkeyes. Behind senior C. J. Fiedorowicz, junior Ray Hamilton, and sophomore Jake Duzey, Kittle had a limited role as a freshman. Against the Missouri State Bears, he had his first collegiate catch, which he took for 47 yards. He had a total of 108 yards receiving on five receptions.
