Greg Ward is a wide receiver with the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. He is 1.80 m tall and 86 kg in weight. He attended John Tyler High School, where he excelled as a football player. He has 53 receptions for 667 yards and eight touchdowns in his second season at wide receiver. As a senior, he tossed for 4,202 yards and 39 touchdowns while also rushing for 861 yards and 13 scores.
He also received Player of the Year honors. He played collegiate football for the Houston Cougars squad at the University of Houston. As a true freshman in 2013, he took part in 10 games as a backup quarterback and wide receiver.
He had 95 receiving yards and two touchdowns in addition to his 176 yards gained on the ground and two scores. He also completed 310 passes for 310 yards. He won the game’s MVP award after rushing for 148 yards and two touchdowns in the 2015 American Athletic Conference Football Championship Game. Ward became a free agent after being undrafted in May 2017 and signed with the Philadelphia Eagles.
His reserve/future contract with the Eagles was finalized in February 2018. 2018 saw his release in September. In January 2019, he became a member of the AAF’s San Antonio Commanders. He extended his season-long contract with the Eagles in April 2019. He entered injured reserve in August 2022.
