Taking part in professional football is Jarrid Williams, who plays offensive lineman for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. At 1.98 m tall and 140 kg, he is also 1.98 m wide. He received two letters of recognition for his varsity participation at Cedar Hill High School, where he attended high school and played football.
Due to his 109 total tackles and defensive play in 2014, he was chosen for the second team all-district football team. He was a two-star recruit out of high school who made the choice to enroll at the University of Houston to play for the Houston Cougars in college football. He took part in eight games in 2016 while using his redshirt as a freshman. His appearances in 2017 were three.
In 2018, he started thirteen games, earning himself a starting spot. He made four starts in 2019 before suffering a season-ending injury. He transferred to the University of Miami in June 2020 to play football for the Miami Hurricanes. He was a redshirt-senior at Miami and started every game. He said that he would return to college football in 2021 for a seventh season.
Williams was not selected in the 2022 NFL Draft and was subsequently signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent. On August 7, 2022, Williams was reinstated after being discharged in July. He was released once more on August 23 following his second release, then on September 16 the Eagles signed him to their practice squad.
