De’Jon Raheem Harris is an American football linebacker who currently plays with the Washington Commanders of the National Football League.
Harris was born on November 1, 1997. He attended college in Arkansas and participated in football there.
Harris participated in all 47 of Arkansas’ games during his college career and finished with 371 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, and 7.5 sacks.
On April 26, 2020, the New England Patriots decided to take a chance on Harris and sign him as an undrafted free agent. On September 5, 2020, the final roster cuts took place, and he was released at that time.
On September 9, 2020, the Green Bay Packers added Harris to their practice squad after signing him to their roster.
He was moved up to the active roster on October 5 and November 28 for the team’s games against the Atlanta Falcons and the Chicago Bears in weeks 4 and 12, respectively,
but he was sent back down to the practice squad following each of those contests. Harris joined the Packers on the reserve/futures roster after signing a deal with the team on January 25, 2021.
Harris was one of the players the Packers cut from their final roster, which took place on August 31, 2021. On October 19, 2021, Harris signed a contract to become a member of the practice squad with the Washington Football Team.
Against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 15 of the 2018 season, he made his debut for the team after being added to the active roster as a COVID-19 replacement player.
On August 31, 2022, the Commanders decided to remove Harris from their roster, and he was re-signed to the practice squad the following day.
