The National Football League’s Washington Commanders are home to free safety Jeremy Antoine Reaves. He is 91 kg and 1.80 m tall. He played baseball and football while a student at Pensacola Catholic High School. After compiling 39 tackles and five interceptions as a senior, he was selected first-team all-area and honorable mention All-State.
He spent four seasons playing college football at the University of South Alabama for the South Alabama Jaguars football team. In his sophomore season, his first as a starter, he had 96 tackles, eight of which were for a loss, and led the team with six passes snared, earning him second-team All-Sun Belt.
After recording 104 tackles, seven tackles for loss, three interceptions, and three forced fumbles as a senior, he was chosen as the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Year. With 301 tackles, eight interceptions, 22 passes deflected, and eight forced fumbles, Reaves finished his collegiate career. Due to his performance, in which he registered eight tackles and a pick, he was granted an invitation to the 2018 Senior Bowl.
Reaves signed on as an undrafted free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles in April 2018. The Eagles released him on September 1st of this year. On September 12, 2018, he was included in the Washington Redskins’ practice squad. On December 22, 2018, he made his NFL debut after being added to the Commanders’ active roster in December.
