Montez Sweat Children: Does Montez Sweat Have Any Kids?

Football defensive end Montez Sweat plays for the National Football League’s Washington Commanders. He is 119 kg and 1.98 m tall. While attending and playing high school football at Stephenson High School, he was recognized as one of the best tight ends in the country. He made a commitment to Michigan State to play collegiate football there for the Spartans following high school.

He played in two games there and registered one sack before redshirting in 2014. He enrolled at Copiah-Lincoln Community College in 2016 after graduating from Michigan State. In order to play for the Bulldogs, he moved back to Mississippi State University in 2017.

He amassed 10.5 sacks in his first year at Mississippi State and was chosen for the 2017 All-SEC football team. Then, as a senior in 2018, he recorded 12 sacks, earning him a spot on the All-SEC football team and an All-American designation. He ran the 40-yard sprint in 4.41 seconds, breaking the combine record for defensive linemen at the 2019 NFL Combine.

The Washington Redskins selected Sweat with the 26th overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He earned a sack and caused a fumble in Week 15 of the 2021 NFL season against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Commanders chose to execute Sweat’s fifth-year option in April 2022.
