Former West Georgia Wolves fullback, Alex Armah is currently in his sixth season in the NFL. Armah was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the sixth round, 192nd overall, in the 2017 NFL Draft and has gone on to play for three NFL teams so far. He currently plays for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL).
Armah is the son of Ghanaian parents. He grew up in Lawrenceville, Georgia, and attended Dacula High School in Dacula, Georgia.
During his time on the high school team, he played as a utility player ( Fullback and Linebacker). In 2011, Armah guided his squad to a record of 7-3 and a second-place finish in the Region 8AAAAA rankings.
Armah attended the University of West Georgia and played four seasons of college football for the West Georgia Wolves.
Armah was the first player in the history of the conference to be honored as an all-conference player in both the offensive and defensive categories.
During his senior season in 2016, he was named to the first team of the All-Gulf South Conference as a defensive end and to the second team of the All-Gulf South Conference as a tight end.
