Alex Erickson is a wide receiver and return specialist who plays for the Washington Commanders in the National Football League. He weighs 88 kg and is 1.83 meters tall. He attended Darlington High School and participated in high school football there. By the end of his high school career, he had 3,856 yards and 57 touchdowns on the ground, 3,648 yards and 37 via the air, 170 tackles, and 14 interceptions.
He was chosen to play in the WFCA All-Star game as a senior, and the Wisconsin State Journal named him the Small School Player of the Year. He was chosen first-team all-state as a defensive back and first-team all-conference as a defensive back and quarterback after racking up 2,489 total offensive yards.
He played college football for the Badgers of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He graduated from Wisconsin in December 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business management. Erickson signed on with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2016 as an undrafted free agent. He had his first game of his career with 100+ receiving yards in October of this year.
