Aaron Monteiro is an NFL offensive tackle who plays for the Washington Commanders. He is 2.01 m tall and weighs 145 kg. He went to Brockton High School, where he was a student and a high school football player who was named to the Boston Globe and Brockton Enterprise All-Scholastic teams. In addition, he received honors from the Big Three Conference and the ESPN Boston All-State team.
He enrolled in Boston Collegiate after high school and played college football for the Boston Eagles. In his six games as a rookie in 2015, he started five games at left tackle. He played in 12 games, starting 12 of them at left tackle during his sophomore campaign. He started each of the 13 games during his junior season in 2017.
In the first game of the season against UMass as a senior in 2018, he started at left tackle and played 70 snaps. The Miami Dolphins signed Monteiro as an undrafted free agent after he was not selected in the 2019 NFL Draft. Later on in the year, the New England Patriots signed him, but six days later they dismissed him.
The majority of his NFL career has been spent on the practice squad of the Carolina Panthers since he signed with them in 2020. He had not yet made an appearance in a regular-season game. He joined his new team, the Washington Commanders,
