Keaton Sutherland participates in professional football as an offensive lineman for the National Football League’s Washington Commanders. He stands 1.96 m tall and weighs 143 kg. After graduating from Edward S. Marcus High School, he spent four seasons playing collegiate football for the Texas A&M Aggies at Texas A&M University.
He participated in all 13 of the team’s games, starting seven of them, and entered his true freshman year as the Aggies’ starting right guard. Before having an appendectomy during the bye week, he started the first six games of his junior season at right tackle. He started the remainder of the season at left guard without missing a single game.
Sutherland became an undrafted free agent and signed with the Cincinnati Bengals in April 2019. At the end of training camp, he was cut, but he later returned to the practice squad and was later reinstated to the official roster in September. He entered the NFL on September 22, 2019. In September 2020, the Dolphins released him.
In March 2022, Sutherland and the San Francisco 49ers reached a contract. On August 30, 2022, he was discharged, and the next day he was added to the practice squad. He was fired on September 13, 2022, and on October 4, 2022, he joined the Washington Commanders’ practice squad.
