Keaton Sutherland is an offensive guard who competes for the National Football League’s Washington Commanders. He is 143 kg and 1.96 m tall. Following his high school graduation, he played four seasons of NCAA football for the Texas A&M Aggies at Texas A&M University.
He took part in all 13 of the team’s contests and started seven of them, making him the starting right guard for the Aggies as a true freshman. His appendectomy occurred during the bye week of his junior season after starting the first six games at right tackle. He did not miss a single game while beginning the remainder of the season at left guard.
The Cincinnati Bengals signed undrafted free agent Sutherland to a contract in April 2019. He was let go at the end of training camp, but in September he joined back up with the team, making him a member of the practice squad until being moved up to the active roster. The NFL welcomed him on September 22, 2019. In September 2020, he was cut loose from the Dolphins.
In March 2022, Sutherland made a commitment to play for the San Francisco 49ers. He was discharged on August 30th, 2022, and the practice squad later that day. On September 13, 2022, he was released, and on October 4, 2022, he joined the Washington Commanders’ practice squad.
