Drew White Bio
A linebacker in the National Football League for the Washington Commanders, Drew White is a professional football player. He is 1.83 m tall and 103 kg in weight. He was a student at ST. Thomas Aquinas High School and participated in football there. His leadership helped the team win the 2016 Florida High School Athletic Association Class 7A State Championship with a 13-2 record.
He also contributed to the team’s No. 6 final MaxPreps Xcellent national rating. After graduating from high school, he received a scholarship to the University of Notre Dame, where he played five seasons of NCAA football for the Fighting Irish. He didn’t participate in any games as a freshman, but in his sophomore season, he played in four games and made a total of eight tackles.
He took part in all 13 of the contests that were played during his junior season in 2019, starting 12. He had a team-high 80 total tackles and also had 8.0 tackles for a loss, 2.0 sacks, two quarterback hurries, and two fumble recoveries. As a senior in 2020, he made five tackles, third-most on the team, while starting.
His 2.0 tackles for loss against the Hokies tied a career best, as did his seven total tackles in the season-opening win over Florida State in 2021, his first career interception recovered and returned for a score, and his first career interception in the win over Wisconsin. He became an undrafted free agent and was signed by the Washington Commanders following the 2022 NFL Draft.
