Drew White is a linebacker with the Washington Commanders of the National Football League. He is 1.83 m tall and weighs 103 kg. He played football in high school at ST. Thomas Aquinas High School. He led the team to a 13-2 record and the 2016 Florida High School Athletic Association Class 7A State Championship.
He also helped the group’s final MaxPreps Xcellent national ranking of No. 6 in that regard. After high school, he was given a scholarship to play NCAA football for the Fighting Irish at the University of Notre Dame, where he did so for five seasons. As a freshman, he did not take part in any games, but as a sophomore, he took part in four games and made a total of eight tackles.
In 2019, as a junior, he played in all 13 of the games, starting 12. With 80 total tackles, 8.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, two quarterback hurries, and two fumble recoveries, he shared the team lead in made tackles. 2020 marked his debut as a senior, as he finished third on the team with five tackles. He made a total of seven tackles in the 2021 season-opening triumph at Florida State.
He caught his first interception of his career and returned it for a touchdown in the win over Wisconsin. He equaled a career high against the Hokies with 2.0 tackles for loss. The Washington Commanders acquired him as an undrafted free agency following the 2022 NFL Draft.
