Andrew Beck is a fullback who competes professionally for the National Football League’s Denver Broncos. He is 116 kg in weight and 1.91 meters tall. He played football while attending Henry B. Plant High School. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at the University of Texas, where he played five seasons of NCAA football for the Texas Longhorns.
In his second season as a starter, he primarily played the role of a blocker while collecting eight receptions for 77 yards. He has four receptions for 82 yards and two touchdowns during his junior season. He caught 28 passes for 281 yards and two scores as a redshirt senior, earning first-team All-Big 12 Conference honors.
Beck signed a contract with the New England Patriots in May 2019 as an undrafted free agent. The Denver Broncos claimed him off waivers in September 2019. He made his first career start against the Green Bay Packers on September 22, 2019, playing 23 fullback snaps. He was inactivated by the Broncos de July 2020 and placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list in August of the same year.
He was placed on injured reserve in October 2020 due to a hamstring issue. In February 2022, Beck won the NFL Salute to Service Award, which USAA bestows annually. In March 2022, he decided to extend his contract with the Broncos by one year.
